愛犬が何を思い、何がしたいのか。きっと犬を飼っている人なら誰もが思うであろう、「もっと深いコミュニケーションがとれたら良いのに」という望みを叶え てくれる“犬語翻訳機”として、タカラ（現タカラトミー）が発売した「バウリンガル」。その斬新なコンセプトはメディアでも賞賛 され、累計30万個のヒットを記録したのは2002年のことだ。あれからもう7年の月日が経ったが、今年8月、「バウリンガル」を時代に合わせて進化させ た「バウリンガルボイス」が発売されることになった。
